Warranty and Service

Master Time

At Master Time, we believe that purchasing a quality watch should come with peace of mind, professional service, and ongoing support.

Therefore, we provide a warranty for watches sold on our website and in our store, and we offer our customers a professional service and repair network even after the purchase.

Wristwatch Warranty

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all watches sold by Master Time include a 24-month warranty from the date of product delivery to the customer.

The warranty applies to the watch mechanism only and is valid for normal and reasonable use, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

For some models, the warranty period may differ, in which case the information on the product page is decisive.

What does the warranty include?

The warranty is intended to cover internal malfunctions of the watch mechanism resulting from a product defect or a mechanism failure during normal use.

For example:

  • A watch that runs exceptionally slow.
  • A watch that runs exceptionally fast.
  • A watch that does not keep accurate time.
  • An internal mechanism fault not caused by external damage.

In these cases, the product will be inspected by Master Time, the importer, or an authorized laboratory, and if necessary, repaired free of charge under warranty.

Important to know - a warranty is not insurance

A manufacturer's warranty is not an insurance policy and does not provide coverage for damages caused by improper use, impact, dropping, water penetration, breakage, or natural wear and tear.

The purpose of the warranty is to ensure the proper functioning of the mechanism under normal use only.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

Physical damages

  • Impacts.
  • Drops.
  • Bruises.
  • Breakages.
  • Cracks.
  • Scratches.
  • Abrasions.
  • Bent parts.

Water and liquid penetration

  • Water penetration.
  • Steam penetration.
  • Soap penetration.
  • Cleaning product penetration.
  • Moisture damage.

Even when a watch is described as water-resistant, it must be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and the stated level of water resistance.

In case of water or steam penetration into the watch, it is recommended to stop using it and bring the watch for inspection as soon as possible. Prompt treatment may prevent irreversible damage to the mechanism.

Natural wear and tear

  • Fading color.
  • Coating wear.
  • Peeling.
  • Discoloration.
  • Loss of shine.
  • Natural wear of watch parts.

External parts

  • Straps.
  • Bracelets.
  • Clasps.
  • Crown.
  • Buttons.
  • Front glass.
  • Back glass.
  • Links.
  • Screws.
  • Pins.
  • Hands.
  • Watch dial.

Stones and settings

The warranty does not cover the dropping, loss, or damage of zircons, crystals, diamonds, or any other setting.

Batteries

The warranty does not cover batteries.

Repair by an unauthorized party

Any opening, repair, or treatment of the product performed by a party not authorized by Master Time may void the warranty.

Ceramic products

Products made of ceramic require special care, as this material is more susceptible to impacts and breakage.

The warranty does not cover breakage of ceramic products.

In case of damage, it may be possible to order replacement parts for a fee and subject to availability.

Color change and coatings

Products not made of real 14K gold or higher do not include a warranty on color or coating.

Over time, the following may occur:

  • Coating wear.
  • Discoloration.
  • Loss of shine.
  • Peeling.

These phenomena may be caused by contact with water, soap, perfumes, lotions, sweat, cleaning products, humidity, friction, and daily use.

Color change or coating wear do not indicate a lack of product authenticity.

For products made of real 14K gold or higher, a lifetime warranty is provided on the metal color only.

Repair service and laboratory

Even after the warranty period ends, we continue to serve our customers.

As part of our laboratory services, you can receive, depending on the type of product and availability of parts:

  • Mechanism repairs.
  • Glass replacement.
  • Crown replacement.
  • Strap replacement.
  • Bracelet shortening and lengthening.
  • Battery replacement.
  • Sealing repairs.
  • Ordering spare parts.

In cases where a specific part is not in stock, a special order from the manufacturer or importer may be required.

Delivery time for special parts may take up to approximately 30 days or more, depending on availability.

Sending a watch for inspection or repair

When a product requires servicing, the watch should be brought or sent to Master Time for professional inspection.

In some cases, the watch will be sent to an authorized laboratory or importer for diagnosis and repair.

The service duration is up to 21 business days and may vary depending on the type of fault, part availability, and laboratory workload.

We make every effort to complete all repairs as quickly as possible and to keep the customer updated throughout the process.

Jewelry warranty

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no warranty is provided for jewelry sold on the website.

This includes:

  • Brand jewelry.
  • 925 silver jewelry.
  • Jewelry sold separately.
  • Jewelry sold as part of a set.
  • Jewelry given as a gift.

To preserve jewelry over time, it is recommended to:

  • Avoid contact with water.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes and lotions.
  • Remove jewelry before sleeping.
  • Remove jewelry before physical activity.
  • Store in a dry and protected place.
